Election officials can learn more about ElectionGuard by reading the implementation toolkits and resources provided on this page as well as by watching the informational videos linked below.
Election officials can get involved with ElectionGuard in the following ways:
Several technology vendors have already incorporated ElectionGuard into their voting systems to support real-world elections. If you are interested in implementing ElectionGuard and would like to observe an ElectionGuard-supported election, please reach out to us through our contact form.
ElectionGuard is an open-source software development kit that can be incorporated into any voting solution. Election officials should work closely with their technology vendor to implement ElectionGuard in your state or local jurisdiction. If you would like the Election Technology Initiative to be a part of these conversations, or if you would like to learn more about implementing ElectionGuard, please reach out to us through our contact form.
The Election Technology Initiative Working Group meets quarterly to discuss updates to technologies managed by the initiative, future technology solutions, technology pilots or implementations and review upcoming publications. This includes the continued development and implementation of ElectionGuard. Please use our contact form to inquire about current openings on the working group.
Led by state officials, the Election Technology Initiative is facilitated by The Turnout and The Council of State Governments.
